- 4 oz soft caramel candies
- 1/3 c heavy cream or half-and-half
- 2-6 apples
Core and slice apples.
Put caramel candies into a large microwave-safe bowl. Make sure that there is room in the bowl for sauce to bubble without bubbling over. Pour cream over caramels. Microwave cream with caramels at 800 watts for 3 minutes, stirring each minute.
Check whether the caramels are fully melted. If not, return the sauce to the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring each time, until the sauce is smooth.
Serve warm with apple slices for dipping.
