Toffee bananas and pecans
- 1 brown banana
- 1 T butter
- 2 T brown sugar
- 2 T pecans
Coarsely chop the pecans and slice the banana in thick slices.
Melt the butter over medium heat. Add sugar and stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar melts and the mixture bubbles, about 1 minute.
Add bananas and pecans. Cook, stirring continuously for another 1 minute then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or with a dollop of whipped cream.
