The pita chips you can buy in the shop are mostly deep fried. By coating these generously with olive oil, you can get the same crispy texture with less mess and trouble.
- 2 leftover pita breads
- 2 T olive oil
- 1/2 t garlic
- 1/2 t salt
Preheat oven to 400F.
Cut pita in half then in quarters. Brush with olive oil then sprinkle with garlic and salt.
Bake 5 minutes.
Serve with your favorite dip, for example sun-dried tomato hummus.
